Fees

Please find a brief explanation of our fees below. Not all items have been included – if you have any queries please do not hesitate to ask our staff for advice.

We are committed to providing compassionate care to the local community and so we will be bulk-billing (that means no out of pocket charges if you have a Medicare Card) our patients who are under the age of 16 or are veterans for consults during the week. We will also bulk-bill all consults that are booked for vaccinations like influenza and Covid19 vaccinations.

All patients seen in clinic who are aged 16 and over and are not veterans, and any patient seen on a weekend (including children) will have gap fees applied. You can pay at the clinic with credit or debit card and receive instant Medicare rebates to your bank account where applicable.

Please note the term “out of pocket” means that we bill you the full amount for the consult and then the Medicare rebate returns to you. An example – a 10min consult you will be charged $59.75 and will receive back a Medicare rebate of $39.75. The out of pocket fee is $20. Please note, to receive a medicare rebate for a telehealth consult you need to have been seen face to face in the clinic in the preceding 12 months.

Standard consults – both in clinic and online/phone

0-10 mins consult $20 out of pocket (Face-to-face infection consults will be charged $60 gap, for all patients including children)

(Examples – for existing patients of the practice only, review of one simple medical condition, mild injury, blood pressure check, prescription renewal with check on progress, referral)

10-20 mins consult $40 out of pocket

(Examples – new patients to the practice, travel medicine advice, diabetes risk assessment/healthy heart check-up, cervical screening, antenatal care, pre-natal planning, adults with a new medical condition)

20-30 mins consult $60 out of pocket

(Examples – diagnosis/management of medical conditions, mental health diagnosis and care, 2 or more conditions needing attention)
